Clarity Assessment
A structured 90-minute discovery session, a written diagnostic report, and a clear set of prioritized recommendations. This is where every AMG engagement starts.
What the Clarity Assessment delivers
Most firms have a general sense that they are losing time somewhere. The Clarity Assessment tells you exactly where, what it would take to fix it, and in what order. Every finding is grounded in what your firm does, not a generic framework applied from the outside.
A concise summary of how your firm operates, your current tech stack, team structure, and the context that makes your situation specific.
Four to seven friction points identified from the discovery session, described in plain language and ranked by their impact on your team's time. Includes knowledge gaps, where institutional know-how lives only in one person's head, alongside workflow and tooling issues.
One specific, actionable opportunity mapped to each pain point. No vendor names. No generic recommendations. Grounded in how your firm works.
A clear visual ranking of every opportunity by how difficult it is to implement and how much time it would save. Helps you decide where to start.
A concrete recommended first move specific to your firm, with week-by-week guidance and a measurable outcome to aim for at the end of the month.
A 30-minute call to walk through the report, answer questions, and discuss next steps. No obligation to continue. The report is yours to keep.
The process
A structured interview covering your workflows, tools, and team, including where time is being lost and where firm knowledge lives, whether in a shared system or only in someone's head. Done over video call. No homework required beforehand.
AMG analyzes the session and produces a written 7-section diagnostic report. Specific to your firm, not a generic template with your name on it.
Walk through the findings together, answer questions, and discuss which recommendations to act on first. No pressure. The report is yours either way.
Sample report
Below is a redacted sample report from a completed engagement with a 10-person estate planning and real estate law firm. Firm name and contact details have been removed. The structure, depth, and format are exactly what you would receive.
The report identified seven workflow pain points, mapped seven corresponding opportunities, and produced a prioritized 30-day starting plan. The firm began implementing within a week of the debrief call.
We will only use this to send the report and follow up if you would like help. No spam.
After the assessment
The natural next step for firms that want to act on the assessment findings. A focused 1 to 2 week engagement to implement the highest-priority recommendations from the report.
For firms where the assessment surfaces a knowledge gap, where what a senior person knows lives only in their head. A structured build of your firm's institutional knowledge that any AI tool can draw on directly.
For firms where the assessment surfaces governance gaps or active AI use without policy. A half-day session producing a written AI use policy tailored to the firm.
For firms where the assessment shows tools in place but underused. A 60 to 90-minute session covering practical use of the tools your team already has.
The Clarity Assessment is complete on its own. The report and debrief are yours regardless of what you decide to do next. There is no obligation to continue.
